National Art Gallery

The National Art Gallery in Yoshkar-Ola opened on November 4th, 2007. It is situated at Leninsky Prospekt, 24. Exhibition halls with climate control and fire safety systems operate here. The galleries feature paintings, graphics, sculptures and items of Mari folk art. Since 2010, an information and educational center "Russian Museum: Virtual Branch" has been functioning. Since 2021, a cultural-exhibition center of the State Russian Museum operates. A Resource Center for children was opened in 2011.
