Amsterdam Waterfront

Amsterdam Embankment in Yoshkar-Ola runs along the banks of the Little Kokshaga River from Pushkin Street to Gogol Street. Architecture of the buildings is done in style of Dutch city architecture with elongated facades, pointed roofs and decorative towers. There is a mosaic panel featuring bronze figurines of gusli players in ethnic costumes of mountain Mari people. Also there are statues dedicated to prominent personalities: Pushkin and Onegin, Rembrandt and Gogol.
