Open-Air Museum of Folk Fairy Tale

Open-air Folk Tale Museum in Yoshkar-Ola is located at Sovetskaya Street, house 105. It was established by enthusiasts Sergey Slesarev and Gennady Efremov. Visitors can see famous fairy tale characters such as Tsarевна-lягушка, Ivan-czarевич and Baba-yaga, as well as Mari epic heroes - Chotkar the knight and Khan Akpars. The exhibition consists of sculptures directly on the facade of a residential building and is free to visit around the clock.
