Museum of Folk Applied Arts

The Museum of Folk Applied Arts is located in a historical one-story wooden house with a mansard roof at Yoshkar-Ola, Chernyshevskogo Street, 23. The building, built in 1907, is an historic and architectural monument of the Republic of Mari El and is protected by the state. Since 1999, it has hosted an exhibition of folk craft products made by Maritime masters displayed in a building decorated with intricate classical style carvings.
