Museum of History and Archaeology

The Museum of History and Archaeology in Yoshkar-Ola is located at Eskinina Street, 10a. Opened in November 2018. It features exhibits detailing the evolution of Mari women's costume over a thousand years and the development of the region from early medieval times to the present day. A separate section is dedicated to the participation of the Mari people in World War II. Adjacent is the Children's Museum and Exhibition Center, also opened simultaneously.
