Catholic Cathedral of Annunciation of Holy Mother of God

Cathedral Basilica of the Annunciation of Our Lady is situated on Voskresenskaya Embankment in Yoshkar-Ola, near River Malaya Kokshaga. It is one of the city's key landmarks and an important part of Patriarch's Square architectural ensemble. The cathedral combines features of Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral and Saint Basil's Cathedral, serving as the cathedral church of Yoshkar-Ola and Mari El Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church.
