Italian Park (Medici Park)

Italian Park in Yoshkar-Ola opened on September 21, 2012. It is situated on the banks of the Little Kokshaga River, near Arkhangelskaya Sloboda. Funds for creating the park were donated by benefactors. The main attraction is a bronze statue of Lorenzo Medici over 3 meters tall, installed in honor of the original monument. Landscaping includes an alley of red maples. This is a popular place for city residents to walk.
