Twelve Apostles Clock

The "12 Apostles" clocks were installed on Patriarch's Square in Yoshkar-Ola in 2011. These are the only mechanized bell towers with a sculpture depicting Jesus Christ entering Jerusalem in Russia. The clocks are situated on the facade of a building designed in the style of Sheremetev Castle in Yuriino. Each hour, the apostle composition led by Jesus steps onto the balcony and then disappears into an adjacent tower accompanied by music.
