Chaville Avenue

Chavain Boulevard in Yoshkar-Ola is named after Sergey Chavain, founder of Mari literature. It is the city's largest pedestrian zone starting from Kirova Street and leading through the center to Brugge Embankment and Theatre Bridge. There is a cascade fountain and an arch made of red brick known as the local Spasskaya Tower (Blagoveshchenskaya).
