Arkhangel'skaya Sloboda

Arkhangel'skaya Sloboda in Yoshkar-Ola - picturesque complex of eleven bright houses with towers and arched windows. Named after Archangel Gabriel, whose statue stands nearby. Figures of animals and birds are placed on buildings. Nearby is Republic Square and Holy Mary Square. In 2013, a sculpture "Yoshkini Koshki" appeared here.
