Vyborg, Theatre Square

Theater Square in Vyborg stands out for its abundance of sculptures in various genres. There is a monument to Vyborgsky tramway depicted as a carriage and figures of a conductor and a boy. Previously on the square was a lost fountain "Imatra Girl" replaced by a new one in 2012-2013. In the 18th century, at the corner of the square stood a stone residential house reconstructed by architect Uno Ullberg in 1910. In 1998 an "Avenue of Actor's Fame" with names of famous Russian cinematographers appeared. The largest tram accident in Finland happened here in 1920.
