Panzerlax

Vyborg, Ladanova Street, Pantsarlax Bastion

Today, Pansserlax Bastion in Vyborg is an historical building housing an art museum and school, showcasing fortress appearances from the 17th to 18th centuries. Formerly, cannons were mounted on its facades while inside there was a four-level artillery emplacement. In 1930, both the museum and school opened with Finnish president's involvement. Additionally, the bastion owns a section of coastal curtain wall—a high stone wall with earthen rampart along the shoreline.
