Lenin Park

Lenin Park in Vyborg is situated between Lenin Avenue and Fortress Street. It features Yussi Myntynen-Lyse statue inspired by Kalevala epic. There is also a fountain with a bear built by prisoners for minor offenses. A notable feature is "Forest Youth" statue walking from "Imatra Girl Fountain" towards "Lion Sculpture". Restaurant Esplanaatipaviljonki is also known locally as Espilya. Alvar Aalto Library, located on the eastern part of the park, was restored after repairs in the 2000s and reopened in its original form in 2013.
