Lenin Monument
Vyborg, Red Square
The Lenin Monument in Vyborg was installed on the Red Square. It was built in 1957 after laying local diabase mosaic. The sculpture replicates the design of the Tbilisi monument by V. Topuridze. Initially it was planned to place the monument on the Railway Station Square but later it was moved to the city's main square, giving it compositional completeness and significance for mass events. The object has been included in Russia's cultural heritage registry.
