Gowing House

Gowing House is situated on Fortification Street in Vyborg. The building is notable for having housed prominent individuals such as Finnish writer Lempi Jaaskelainen and her sister Aili. Following a fire in 2017, the house suffered significant damage and was nearly destroyed. Previously, valuable interior elements like parquet floors and wooden doors and ceilings were preserved. Currently, the site requires urgent restoration and reinforcement.
