Hermitage-Vyborg
Vyborg, Ladanova Street, 1
Hermitage-Vyborg - a branch of State Hermitage Museum opened in 2010. A building designed by Finnish architect Uno Ullberg in 1930 is situated on Panzerlakks bastion. It stands out with its white plastered walls contrasting against surrounding fortifications. The museum has two wings separated by a wedge-shaped courtyard with a classical colonnade and gallery. Views onto the Southern Harbor and approaches to the city from sea make it an architectural focal point.
