Gilded House
Vyborg, Vyborgskaya Street, 10
Guild House - a single-story building with basement on Vyborgskaya Street, 10. The structure is a monument of medieval architecture from the 16th century and included in the register of cultural heritage under number 4710053000. Originally intended for meetings of city guilds of craftsmen, its role was dictated by Swedish legislation regarding the organization of townsfolk into crafts associations. After damages during Soviet-Finnish wars, the building was restored and adapted for the needs of the city's electrical networks. Currently access inside is restricted but uneven white walls can be seen through the fence of the "Vyborg Electric Networks" complex.
