40th Anniversary of Komsomol Embankment

40th Anniversary Embankment of VKS in Vyborg starts from the corner hotel "Belveder", where important political meetings used to take place. The main attraction of the park is the sculpture "Little Fisherman" by Mikko Hovi, installed in 1924. There is also an anchorage area - a monument to the maritime history of the city. The name of the embankment is linked with Komsomol work on its improvement in 1958. Previously this street was called in Swedish Salakkalahtigatan and Finnish Salakkalahdenkatu.
