Sochi Circus

The Modern Sochi Circus opened on May 19, 1971. Its marble floor in the foyer features drawings of birds and animals. Interiors are adorned with observation galleries featuring mosaic panels. Initially, the building could accommodate up to two thousand spectators. Concerts by famous performers were held here as well as the first children's festival of circus art in 2006. Since 1992, the circus has been led by People's Artist Mstislav Zapashny.
