Sochi National Park

Sochi National Park is located between Tuapse District and the border with Abkhazia. Its area exceeds 2000 sq. km. You can see unique natural objects here: Akhun Mountain, Agur Waterfalls, Vorontsov Caves, Eagle Cliffs, Polykhar Waterfall and Swir Gorge. Rare plant and animal species listed in Russia's Red Book live in the park. There are also archaeological monuments—remains of dolmens and ruins of old estates. The park was established in 1983 and is the first national park in the country.
