Sochi Lighthouse

Sochi Lighthouse situated on the Black Sea shore in Central microdistrict is a regional cultural heritage site. It was built according to architect N.P. Rozanov's design in 1890. Construction began on September 20th of that year after engineer-capitan Rozanov and fleet navigators' captain Mordvinov selected the location. Access to the construction site was exclusively via sea due to lack of land roads.
