Archangel Mikhail Cathedral

Archangel Mikhail Cathedral - the oldest church of Sochi built between 1874-1890. Founded in 1890, included in the list of Russia's federal cultural heritage sites of regional significance. Restored from 1992 to 1994 under architect Fyodor Afuksenidi's project, returning it to its original appearance. Adjacent to the cathedral complex with Sunday school and baptistery; belongs to Sochi diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. Designed by Moscow architect Alexander Kaminsky.
