Ordzhonikidze Sanatorium
Сочи, Курортный проспект, 96/5
Orjonikidze Sanatorium in Sochi is situated at the foot of Bitya Mountain. Its architectural ensemble, including separate sleeping blocks from 1936-1937 and the club-dining hall's parade colonnade, is a federal monument. Interiors are decorated with murals created by Palekh and Mstera masters under the supervision of Soviet People's Artist Sergey Gerasimov. A particularly valuable element is the fountain, protected as an independent part of the ensemble. Landscape perspectives of the complex face the Black Sea coastline.
