Pyotr I Monument

The monument to Pyotr I is located in the sea port of Sochi city. It is a bronze sculpture 5.5 meters high and weighing 5 tons, created by artists V. Zvonsov and A. Butaev within four months. The monument was installed in 2008 and symbolizes the importance of Sochi's sea port as the southernmost in Russia.
