Nikolay Ostrovsky Monument

Nikolay Ostrovsky Monument is situated in a square on Kurortny Prospect in Sochi. Created by sculptors from Leningrad, it was opened in 1979 to celebrate the writer’s 75th anniversary. The statue stands about 10 meters tall. Earlier, this location housed Sochi Fortress Cemetery until it was transformed into a park with the monument.
