Orehovsky Waterfall

Orehovsky Waterfall is located in Plastunka village near Sochi. It consists of a cascade of water streams falling vertically through layers of sandstone and slates at an angle of about 70 degrees. The waterfall has two lower steps leading to a small pebble beach along River Sochi. A metal staircase built in 1996 leads there. It is among the highest waterfalls in the region. The surrounding trail passes through the colchian forest and includes other falls of River Azek.
