Navaginskaya Street

Navaginskaya Street in Sochi is known for its historical project of Trade Gallery created by architects from "Mosgrazhdanproekt". The idea of freeing the street from automobile traffic emerged back in the late 1970s. During reconstruction carried out by specialists from "Grandshtroy" company, an urban planning project was implemented aimed at creating a boulevard zone between the railway and sea stations. Olympic pedestrian zone reconstruction took place in 2013, while the landscaping project won first place on the "Archrazrez 2014" competition in the category "Urban Planning and Urban Environment Improvement".
