Archangel Mikhail Monument

The Monument to Archangel Mikhail is situated in the center of Sochi, at the intersection of Kurortny Prospect and Gorky Street. The sculpture depicts archangel Mikhail descending from heaven. The project was implemented under the guidance of Vladimir Zelenko, who also created the bronze figure. A commemorative plaque at the base lists the participants in creating the monument, while its installation was blessed by Metropolitan Ekaterinodarsky and Kuban Isidore.
