The A. S. Pushkin Library in Sochi is situated on Primorskaya Street. The building is executed in the Art Nouveau style and blends harmoniously with the park ensemble of the Primorskoy Boulevard due to architecture taking into account the natural surroundings. The library opened in 1912; initially it was a free people's library-readers' room dedicated to Pushkin. Surrounded by green plantations, the library retains its historical purpose from pre-revolutionary times and is supported by local intellectuals.
