Red Street

Krasnaya Street in Krasnodar starts with a monument to Catherine II and the Military Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky. It stretches almost five kilometers through the historical center of the city, becoming pedestrian on weekends. Here there are many old wooden and brick houses, merchant mansions, theaters and museums. On the street there is also Aurora Cinema, Pushkin Library and Central Concert Hall. During holidays, concerts are held on Theatre Square. Earlier, the street was called "Big", "Prospektnaya", " Kuban" and "Cossack".
