St. Elias Church

The Svyato-Ilinskiy church is located in Krasnodar at October Street, 149. The main altar was consecrated in honor of the prophet God’s Elijah, the second altar dedicated to Saint Nikolay the Wonderworker. The church was returned to believers at the end of the 1980s after a long break. Construction was planned during the cholera epidemic in 1892. Consecration took place on August 2, 1990, by Archbishop Isidore. From 1949 to 1963, the two-story priory house housed the diocese. Restoration began in March 1990.
