Holy-Georgievsky Church

The Holy-Georgievsky Church in Krasnodar is situated on Sedin Street. Its length is 26 meters, width - 20 meters. The central part features five domes, while there are eleven domes altogether. The church was founded in 1895, construction was supervised by architect Ivan Malgerb. Originally, the premises were intended for an elementary school for poor children. Georgievsky Church survived the period of mass closures of churches in Kuban and continues to operate. The southern annex is dedicated to the Feodorovskaya icon of the Mother of God.
