St.ElizabethCathedral

St. Catherine's Cathedral in Krasnodar is located at Kommunarov Street, 52. It was founded on April 23, 1900 and built for 14 years according to architect Malgerb's project. The main altar of the cathedral was consecrated on March 24, 1914. This is one of the largest churches in Russia with seven altars dedicated to members of the imperial family. The cathedral celebrates its centennial in 2014 and serves as the spiritual center of Kuban.
