Shukhov Tower

Shukhov Tower in Krasnodar - a monument of 20th century engineering art, an object of cultural heritage. Located in the historical center of the city. It is one of the few surviving structures designed by Vladimir Shukhov using his unique hyperbolic technology. Originally served as a water tower. In 1942 there was consideration to dismantle it. The first such tower created by Shukhov was built already in 1896 at the Nizhegorod Exhibition.
