Dog Capital Monument

Red Street and Peace Street in Krasnodar are decorated with a bronze composition "Sobchakin's Capital". The sculpture was opened in 2007. Two dogs dressed in stylish clothing from the beginning of the 20th century symbolize the humorous nickname of the city given by Vladimir Mayakovsky in his poem. The author of the work is local artist Valery Pchelin.
