"Kuban Cossack Monument"

The monument "Kuban Cossacks" was installed in Krasnodar near the building of the regional administration on Krasnaya Street. The height of the sculpture including the pedestal is 7.2 meters. The sculpture depicts a bronze horseman figure of a Kuban cossack in traditional attire of the Black Sea Cossack army. Historical prototype - military judge and atamansky Anton Golovaty. The monument was opened on April 7, 2005 and delivered by helicopter from Rostov-on-Don due to its large size.
