Memorial Arch "Imi Gordyotsya Kuban"

Memorial arch "They Are Proud Of Kuban" is situated in Krasnodar on Krasnaya Street. Built in the 1960s, it was reconstructed in the mid-1990s with replacement of sculpture by a horse figure of George the Conqueror. A bust of Marshal Zhukov is installed before the arch. On marble slabs of the arch there are engraved names of Kuban residents awarded state honors. Opening of the first stage took place on December 1, 1996; reconstruction was completed by May 9, 1997.
