Krasnodarsky Hippodrome

Krasnodar Hippodrome is situated on Begovaya Street in Krasnodar. Its history begins with the first horse races in Yekaterinodar in 1864, which marked the event of North Caucasian peoples' joining Russia. After the end of the Caucasian War in 1868, the hippodrome was actively used for testing horses of various breeds. The current building complex was put into operation in 1978.
