Krasnodar Philharmonic Hall named after G.F. Ponomarenko

The building of Krasnodar Philharmonic named after G.F. Ponomarenko is situated on Krasnaya Street, 55. It was constructed in 1909 according to the design of famous architect F.O. Shekhtel and originally served as Winter Theatre. During World War II, the theatre suffered bomb damage but after restoration in 1954 it became a branch of state philharmonic. Today it's a cultural center of the city with a spacious concert hall and historical significance.
