Krasnodar Philharmonic named after G.F. Ponomarenko is situated on Krasnaya Street, 55. The building was restored after destruction during World War II and renovated by architect A.V. Titov. The theater is executed in modern style, features a four-story winter hall with 1500 seats and luxurious interior and impressive foyer. The philharmonic was built in 1909 according to F.O. Shekhtel's project and resumed operation after liberation from occupiers. The institution's primary purpose is hosting concert events.
