Alexandrovsky Triumphal Arch (Tsarskie Vorota)

Краснодар, ул. Красная (Александровский бульвар)

Alexandrovskaya Triumphal Arch, also known as Tsarskie Vorota, is located in Krasnodar on Krasnaya Street. Built in the style of Moscow architecture from the 17th century, it has three arches and is a regional cultural heritage site. After being destroyed during the Soviet period, the arch was reconstructed in 2008, restoring its original decor. Instead of the original image of Saint Catherine the Great Martyr, today there is a monument to Saint Catherine. The arch was originally built for the arrival of Emperor Alexander III in Yekaterinodar.
