Cathedral of the Assumption

The Cathedral of the Ascension in Gelendzhik is a Orthodox church and the second cathedral of Novorossiysk Diocese. The building constructed at the beginning of the 20th century is a monument of town planning and architecture and included in the list of cultural heritage objects of Russia. After being transferred to the historical and regional studies museum in 1984, the church again began to be used for religious services.
