Dzhankhotsky Forest Pine of Pitsunda

Dzhankhotsky Pine Forest of Pizunda Pine - a regional nature monument situated near Gelendjik. The forest area is approximately 2102 hectares. It features Pizunda pine, listed in Russia's Red Book, as well as juniper, swida, sumach and brecka. The forest stretches along the slopes of coastal mountains, its territory includes views of the Black Sea and a path to beaches. This is one of the largest natural stands of Pizunda pine in Russia.
