Yuri Gagarin Park

Yuri Gagarin Park in Kirov is located behind the building of the Vyatka Philharmonic and occupies an area of 10.75 hectares. In 1960, Komsomol members planted thousands of trees here, predominantly American maples, and in 1998, a monument to internationalist soldiers was laid. Visitors can use a free children's playground with a sandbox and fairy-tale characters for photos, and in winter, an ice rink with skate rentals opens. Near the park is the Museum of Military Glory, where you can see genuine items, equipment, and soldiers' weapons.
