Monument to Reverend Trifon Vyatsky

Киров, Покровский сквер

A monument to Reverend Trifon Vyatsky, the founder of the Trifonov Monastery, was erected in the Pokrovsky Square of Kirov in 2015. The bronze sculpture, created by Kirov masters Vladimir Bondarev and Klara Kotsienko, depicts the saint in full height with a church in one hand and a scroll with instructions in the other. The funds for the creation of the monument, made by the company "Lit Art," were collected by residents, enterprises, and the church, spending about 12 million rubles. In 2017, the ensemble was supplemented by the "Wall of Memory," resembling a three-part iconostasis and telling about the life of the saint and the destroyed churches of Vyatka.
