Monument to Heroic Labour "Kirov Residents to the Front"

The monument to the heroic labor "Kirovites to the Front" was erected in Kirov on Oktyabrsky Avenue in 1967 and is dedicated to the labor feat of the city's residents during the Great Patriotic War. The monument became the first in the city to immortalize the memory of home front workers, and it bears the inscription "To the heroic labor of machine builders who forged victory in the rear." The central part of the composition is a T-34 tank, delivered from the Urals and lifted onto a high concrete pedestal with the help of two cranes. The number 613 is depicted on the turret of the combat vehicle, although historical sources also mention the number 603.
