Kirovchanes — Frontu Monument

The monument "Kirovchane — frontu" is located on Oktyabrsky Prospect in Kirov, opposite house 42. It was opened in 1967 and dedicated to the heroism of city residents during World War II. The central part of the memorial is a T-34 tank with number 613 on a concrete pedestal. The right side of the pedestal depicts war-time workers, while the left side shows Soviet soldiers. This is the first memorial in the city honoring employees of defense industries. The inscription reads: "Heroic labor of machine builders who forged victory in the rear."
