Monument to Hero Firefighters and Chernobyl Liquidators

The monument to heroes-firefighters and Chernobyl liquidators was installed in Kirov on Lepse Street, 30. It was opened to mark the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster under the initiative of the Main Administration of Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations. The monument is dedicated to firefighters and city residents who participated in cleaning up after the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident. The installation of the commemorative sign was accompanied by the involvement of veteran organizations and other public structures.
