F. I. Shalyapin Monument

In the park near the Kirov Regional Drama Theatre stands a monument to Feodor Ivanovich Chaliapin created by People's Artist of Russia Viktor Borskin. It was opened on August 23, 2014. The sculpture reaches a height of about four meters. During daylight hours visitors can enjoy the reproduction of twenty well-known works performed by the great artist thanks to an installed stereo system. The installation of the monument was initiated by Vyatskoe Chaliapin Society.
