Eternal Flame Memorial Complex

Memorial complex "Eternal Flame" in Kirov is situated on the high bank of the Vyatka River. It was opened in 1967 and dedicated to kirovan soldiers who fell during World War II. The central element of the complex is a tall white obelisk standing 12 meters high. Annually, ceremonies of laying flowers take place at the memorial on Memorial Day. The complex is located at the intersection of Gryu Embankment and Moscow Street and included among greened areas of the city.
