Center of Military Glory Pyotrozavodsk

The Center of Military Glory in Pyotrozavodsk is situated at Lenina Avenue, 2. It commemorates the city's occupation history during World War II from 1941 to 1944. Special emphasis is placed on Pyotrozavodsk's defense in 1941. Visitors can learn about the concentration camps of that time by visiting an exhibition upon prior booking. The project was implemented with support from the charitable foundation "Osnova" and the city administration. The idea for creating the center arose after Pyotrozavodsk was awarded the title of city of military glory.
