Fishermen Sculpture

The sculpture "Fishermen" is situated on Onega Embankment in Pyotrozavodsk. It symbolizes cooperation between two nations: Russian and American, depicting fishermen casting their net. Created by Rafael Consuegra, it was manufactured at the enterprise "Pyotrozavodskmash". Installed in 1991, it became the first piece of an open-air gallery of modern art. "Fishermen" have become an unofficial symbol of Pyotrozavodsk and were a gift from Duluth, Minnesota, USA to the city.
