Fishermen Sculpture

The sculpture "Fishermen" is located on Onega Embankment in Pyotrozavodsk. Created by American artist of Cuban origin Rafael Consuegra, it symbolizes the joint work of Russians and Americans through the images of two fishermen casting a net. Installed in 1991, this sculpture became the first piece of an open-air gallery of modern art and is an unofficial symbol of Pyotrozavodsk. It was produced at the local enterprise "Pyotrozavodskmash".
